System: The website for Opal & Oak Marketing which allows users to connect with a specialist to describe marketing needs and discuss strategy.

Opal & Oak Marketing may collect location information, if you give us permission to do so. Location data collected may include, but is not limited to:

Opal & Oak Marketing uses the above-stated information categories to operate our business and improve our System.

However, Opal & Oak Marketing will take all steps necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely. To protect you and your data, we may suspend your use of the System, without notice, pending an investigation, if any breach of security is suspected. 

5.2. Data Retention 

We retain information as long as it is necessary and relevant for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain Personal Information to comply with all applicable laws, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigation, enforce our Terms of Service, collect any fees owed, and other actions permitted by law. After it is no longer necessary for us to retain your Personal Information, we will erase it from our servers. We will retain Usage Data indefinitely for internal analysis and marketing purposes only. Such Usage Data is made anonymous and used to improve the services and features of our System.

In the twelve months prior to the Effective Date of this Policy, we have not sold any Personal Information of consumers. 

In the twelve months prior to the Effective Date of this Policy, we have not disclosed any Personal Information of consumers for business purposes. 

You may submit a request to enact any of the above rights by contacting us in writing through the contact information listed below. We may require additional information to verify your identity before responding to a CCPA rights request. Please mention in your communication that you are making a “California Consumer Privacy Act Request.” You may only make an information request twice within a 12-month period. We will respond to your request within 45 calendar days, as required by the Act. 

To the extent required by applicable law, you have the right to request deletion of your Personal Information. We will provide a confirmation of the deletion in writing, within 45 calendar days. This confirmation will include what information we have erased and if there is any information which we are legally obligated to maintain. 

Section 7: Links to Other Websites 

The System may contain links to other websites and services (“Third Party Services”) with which we have no affiliation. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any Third Party Services. If you decide to visit a Third Party Service, you are subject to its terms of use, privacy policy and other practices, and not this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to carefully review the legal and privacy notices of all Third Party Services that you visit. 

Section 8: Modification of this Privacy Policy 

We may, from time to time and at our sole discretion, modify our Privacy Policy. To comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, this Policy will be updated at least once annually. When this Policy is modified, you will receive an electronic communication informing you that our Policy has changed. Once the modified Policy is posted to the System, it will become effective immediately.

Continued use of the System following notice of such changes shall indicate your acknowledgement of such changes and agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions of such changes.
